How This Informs My Work
Each of these approaches offers a different lens — from working with the nervous system and the body, to building practical skills, to exploring patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior.
Rather than applying a single method, I integrate these perspectives in a way that is responsive to you.
This allows our work to be:
Grounded in evidence-based practices
Attuned to the body and lived experience
Flexible, depending on what you need at a given moment
The intention is not to apply techniques, but to support a process that feels meaningful, steady, and relevant to your life.
Additional Background
My path into this work has been shaped by a range of experiences that continue to inform how I understand people, systems, and healing.
Before becoming a therapist, I studied City Planning, with a focus on community-based approaches — an experience that deepened my understanding of how environments and systems shape our lives.
Earlier, I lived in China and Taiwan, where I taught English and worked as an actress. These experiences expanded my perspective on culture, identity, and communication.
Alongside this, I have been studying and practicing yoga and Chinese medicine for many years, and continue to integrate aspects of these traditions — including mindfulness, embodiment, and philosophical perspectives — into both my life and my work.
